Use announcements to communicate general information to WorldServer and TransPort users.
About this task
You can target an announcement for members of specific:
WorldServer locales or workgroups
TransPort users (Clients)
WorldServer locales or workgroups
and TransPort users
Announcements will be visible on the user's home page. After allowing adequate time for team members to read an announcement, you can delete the announcement.
Procedure
For
Subject, enter the name of the announcement, for example, "Company Luncheon."
For
Announcement, enter the details, for example, when and where the luncheon will take place.
To post announcements containing HTML, use any valid HTML tags, but be extremely careful to form the HTML correctly. Also, after creating an announcement containing HTML tags, make sure you select the HTML announcement check box.
In the
For WorldServer section, select the targeted locales and workgroups.
In the
For TransPort section, select the Clients that you want to include in the announcement.
