When you add a business rule, you can configure it to create projects when
WorldServer detects changes to assets in a particular AIS path. You can also create rules that detect when tasks are due or overdue and notify assignees accordingly.
Procedure

In
WorldServer, go to

Select
Add.

On the new page, in the
Rule name box, enter the name of the business rule you want to add.

Under
What should this rule apply to, select whether you want to add a task-based or an asset-based business rule, and then select the types of assets or tasks to which it should apply.
In the case of asset-based rules, you usually need to specify the path which contains the appropriate assets. If you want the rule to apply only to new or changed assets, you will also need to choose whether or not you want checked out assets to be excluded.

What conditions should this rule check, select the appropriate conditions for your business rule, and then specify the details related to the selected conditions:

Under
What should this rule do, select the actions that you want the business rule to perform, and then specify the details related to the selected actions.

What exceptions should this rule check, select the exceptions that you want to be applied to this business rule, and then specify the details related to the selected exceptions.

Under
When should this rule be executed, choose how and when you want this business rule to be executed (manually or based on a recurring schedule).
