Searching within assets

To search for particular words or phrases, store your assets in a repository whose connector supports searching. In WorldServer Explorer, the search function supports text files, but does not locate text contained in binary files generated by Microsoft Office, QuarkXPress, or other programs.

1. Open WorldServer Explorer.
2. Select the folder or the asset where you want to perform the search.
3. Select Edit > Find.
4. In the Search for Assets dialog box, in the Search For box, enter the word or phrase that you are searching for.
5. Next to Display Results, choose where you want your search results to be displayed.
6. Optional: If you want your search to be case-sensitive, select the Case Sensitive check box.
7. Select Search.
