In the new Workflow Editor, you have more options to control how transitions are displayed compared to the old Workflow Editor.
Before you begin
To insert transitions, you need to have at least two steps in your workflow. Also, the names of your transitions should not exceed 255 characters. Otherwise,
WorldServer truncates them.
About this task
There are multiple ways of inserting transitions in the new Workflow Editor. This topic presents one of them. To see them all,
open this link and view a short animation.
Procedure
-
In the new Workflow Editor, select
Insert transition.
-
Drag a line from one step to another.
Tip: Use the points along the line to arrange it as you wish.
-
In the
Transition Properties pane, enter a name for the transition and, if applicable, configure the transition order.
Tip: Use transition order when a step can proceed in more than one possible direction. For example, a Review step can proceed to Finish if the translation is accepted or can return to the Translate step if the translation is rejected. The transition order determines the order in which the next steps are displayed to users in the
Complete Task dialog box.
